Job summary

McLane is seeking a strategic leader to manage the Vendor Management Office within IT&D. You will oversee day-to-day operations, govern vendor relationships, and drive performance with SLAs and KPIs while collaborating with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Security, and risk teams.

The role is hybrid, reporting from Temple, TX area with a focus on governance, cost effectiveness, and continuous improvement in a complex enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in vendor management, procurement, IT service management, or related disciplines.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience with a focus on coaching and developing teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the IT&D Vendor Management Office, including day to day operations, prioritization, and execution.
• Manage, coach, and develop Vendor Management teammates through ongoing feedback and performance reviews.
• Establish and enforce vendor governance standards, tools, and processes across IT&D.
• Own strategic vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with business and IT&D objectives.
• Monitor SLAs, KPIs, and vendor performance; lead QBRs and remediation efforts.
• Partner closely with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Security, and Third Party Risk Management.
• Ensure vendor engagements are cost effective, compliant, and aligned with McLane standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and maintain scalable vendor management documentation.
