Job summary

Boston Scientific is seeking a Sr. IT Sourcing Specialist to develop and implement sourcing strategies for the Global IT category, balancing cost, quality, and supplier relationships. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline with at least 3 years of indirect sourcing experience.
• Experience with end-to-end sourcing process, negotiations and contract management
• Proficient with MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (i.e. SAP and Ariba)

Responsibilities

• Negotiating new IT agreements in support of key sourcing areas
• Developing and implementing sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, negotiations, and contracting
• Managing supplier performance, relationships, and continuous improvement programs
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to achieve annual cost savings and value contribution targets
• Creating and issuing RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs to potential suppliers and managing IT projects
• Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the sourcing function
