Job summary
Daimler Truck Financial is seeking a Solution Architect in Charlotte, NC to design and drive IT solution implementations and manage service delivery for existing systems. You will partner with DTFS IT and business leaders, evaluating technologies and guiding projects from concept through deployment.
The role requires hands‑on experience with Java/J2EE, microservices, RESTful services and containerized deployments. A hybrid schedule fosters collaboration and governance across teams.
Qualifications
- BS/BA in Computer/Information Science or Information Technology.
- Hands‑on experience with Java/J2EE technologies.
- Experience building microservices architectures and RESTful services.
- Proven ability to evaluate technology standards and make design decisions.
- Experience with containerized deployments (WebSphere/JBOSS/Tomcat).
Responsibilities
- Define and architect future technology landscape and roadmap.
- Gather and translate business requirements to design solutions.
- Design and build technical solutions aligned to IT/Business strategy.
- Monitor SLAs and address issues with root‑cause analysis.
- Collaborate with architects, DBAs and IT Infrastructure to prevent incidents.
- Ensure DevOps adoption for faster, agile service delivery.
