Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking an IT Risk Director to help clients understand and address business risks across internal audit and SOX frameworks. The role collaborates across teams to assess risk management, design controls, and drive audit engagements for operating effectiveness and compliance.

You will lead client relations, develop opportunities, and guide teams through risk assessments, control design, and remediation strategies, with a hybrid work model requiring in-office presence several days

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, MIS, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of related work experience providing risk and internal control audit and advisory services.
Certification required, CIA, CISA, CPA license/certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Review business processes across multiple risk domains to provide management with an assessment of business risk, internal control, and process effectiveness.
Lead and support business development activities, proposals, and client engagement opportunities.
Perform engagement management responsibilities including performance reviews, project scheduling, and client management.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members to foster professional growth and achieve targets.
