Job summary

ManpowerGroup, through its Experis brand, is seeking an IT Project Manager in Laurel, MD. This contract-to-hire role requires managing multiple initiatives across technology and enterprise transformation. Hybrid work (3 days onsite/2 days remote) with a $45–$60/hour W2 pay range.

You will partner with business and IT leaders to deliver complex projects in both Waterfall and Agile environments. The ideal candidate has 3–6+ years of PM experience, strong governance and stakeholder skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3-6+ years of proven project management experience managing medium-to large-scale projects involving system conversions, platform migrations, enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and IT transformation initiatives.
• Experience operating in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Financial Services, Banking, Credit Union, or related Financial Institution experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working directly with executive leadership and senior stakeholders.
• Strong skills in project governance, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects from initiation through implementation and closure.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, risks, issues, and status reports.
• Coordinate activities across business units, IT teams, vendors, and executive stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Facilitate project meetings, steering committee sessions, and stakeholder communications effectively.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed on schedule and aligned with strategic business objectives.
• Drive accountability among project teams and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
• Assist in transitioning projects between Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies as appropriate.
• Maintain project documentation and reporting within Planview and other project management tools.
