Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional technology initiatives from concept to delivery. You will guide project teams, define practical delivery plans, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and communicate decisions and business impact to executives.

You will build strong relationships across business and technology groups, facilitate executive updates, and coordinate vendor and analyst work to ensure on-time, within-scope delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of related project management experience required, including experience leading cross-functional technology projects.
• PM certifications such as PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master are preferred.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Copilot.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, Visio or similar tools.
• Experience leading projects that involve business process change, systems integration, vendor coordination, or enterprise technology delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex IT projects and programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring objectives, scope, timelines, budget, risks, and outcomes are managed and communicated.
• Develop and maintain project plans, status reporting, risk logs, action trackers, communication plans, and dependency tracking.
• Create materials and communicate project health and business impact to executives and stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships across business and technology groups to enable collaboration.
• Facilitate meetings and updates that drive alignment, accountability, and timely decisions.
• Coordinate work of team members, vendors, analysts, or project managers to support IT initiatives.
• Demonstrate problem-solving and judgment in escalating risks and determining next steps.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
