Job summary

Hyundai AutoEver America is seeking a Buyer III to manage and support procurement for Hyundai AutoEver America and its business clients. The role requires negotiating pricing for IT hardware, software, maintenance, and services, issuing RFXs, evaluating suppliers, and handling PR/PO entry and spend analyses.

The position is on-site in Fountain Valley, CA, with an emphasis on contract terms, vendor risk management, and collaborative work with legal to finalize agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience.
• Proficient in developing business requirements documentation, process flows, status reports, and presentations.
• Be a self-starter with strong written and verbal communications skill. Looking for someone willing to get involved and do whatever is needed to get the job done.
• CPSM, CSM, C.P.M. or purchasing certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate pricing and delivery of IT hardware, software, software maintenance and professional services.
• Issue and administer RFX from creation to final award.
• Evaluate potential suppliers to determine if they meet quality, delivery, capacity and cost needs.
• Place orders with supply base and provide status information on PR/PO to originators; perform spend analyses.
