Job summary

Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting seeks an IT Contract Purchasing Agent in Houston to manage IT procurement, contracts, and vendor relations. You will process POs, negotiate pricing, and oversee SaaS and IT services agreements while aligning with security and legal standards.

Responsibilities include evaluating vendors, supporting RFPs/RFQs, and driving cost savings across locations, with strong negotiation and ERP skills required.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor’s degree and several years of IT procurement experience.
• Proven negotiation, vendor management and contract oversight skills.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP and MS Office tools; familiarity with Power BI is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review IT requisitions and process POs for software, hardware, cloud services and IT services.
• Negotiate, execute and administer IT contracts, licenses and SaaS agreements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure contract compliance and performance.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage vendor relationships across locations.
• Support RFP/RFQ processes and vendor pre-qualification activities.
