Job summary

The Delaware Judicial Branch seeks a dynamic Deputy Chief Information Officer to support the CIO in leading the Judicial Information Center and advancing its strategic technology vision.

The Deputy CIO provides executive leadership across enterprise technology services, including cybersecurity, infrastructure, applications, data, and procurement, ensuring secure, reliable, user‑centered technology for court operations and public access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years in information technology with progressive responsibility.
• 4+ years in IT modernization or leadership roles.
• 3+ years managing teams of 30+ employees.
• 3+ years in IT and project budget planning and management.
• 2+ years vendor management, contracting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for judicial IT services and strategy.
• Oversee 24x7x365 support for mission‑critical systems and security.
• Lead IT programs, plans, budgets, scope, and delivery.
• Collaborate with court leaders to align technology with priorities.
• Promote continuous improvement and operational excellence.
