Job summary

The NYS Office of Information Technology Services seeks an Assistant Deputy Chief Information Officer (ADCIO), a senior technology leader who will define and implement the agency's forward-thinking technology strategy, bridging strategy with execution across infrastructure, platforms, and security. • 13 years of progressively responsible information technology leadership experience.
• Experience leading enterprise technology operations, strategic planning, budgeting, procurement, and large-scale initiatives.
• Substitutions: Bachelor's degree substitutes for 4 years; a Masters substitutes for an additional year.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the agency's strategic technology vision across enterprise technology.
• Provide strategic leadership and alignment across technology functions to support the State's mission.
• Advise executive leadership on emerging technologies, technology risks, and digital transformation opportunities, including cybersecurity considerations.
• Build trust and foster collaboration across technology and business units to drive execution.
• Oversee contracts, procurements, and vendor performance, and manage strategic partnerships.
