Job summary

American Jewish University in Sherman Oaks, CA, seeks a Director of Information Technology & Enterprise Systems to lead technology strategy, enterprise systems, and cybersecurity across the institution. This exempt, full-time role reports to the COO/CFO and involves guiding digital transformation and governance.

The role oversees the MSP, vendor relationships, and IT investments to align with institutional priorities, with a focus on security, reliability, and user experience across faculty,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, or related field required.
• Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible IT/enterprise systems experience.
• Experience managing technology vendors or outsourced services.
• Experience leading enterprise software implementations or digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain multi-year technology roadmap.
• Oversee MSP and ensure service levels and performance.
• Lead cybersecurity strategy with external partner and incident response.
• Oversee enterprise systems and applications (HubSpot, HR, LMS, IAM, PM, AI tools).
• Collaborate with departments to gather requirements and prioritize technology requests.
• Lead vendor negotiations and manage licensing.
• Drive automation, reporting, and dashboard improvements.
• Ensure projects stay on schedule and aligned with business needs.
