Job summary

Southwest Value Partners seeks a Director of IT to lead strategy, operations, and the technology roadmap across the firm’s offices and portfolios. You’ll drive AI evaluation, governance, and reliable infrastructure to support investment, asset management, and administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, IS, or related field.
• 10+ years in IT with infrastructure, systems administration, and end-user support.
• IT certifications (ITIL, Microsoft, CompTIA, PMP) preferred.
• Experience deploying AI tools and platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience managing vendors, budgets, and tech projects.
• Hands-on with Azure, networking, virtualization, and enterprise apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the IT strategy and multi-year roadmap for growth and acquisitions.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud services, and on-site systems.
• Manage business applications (Yardi, MRI, accounting/financial systems) and productivity tools.
• Administer Microsoft 365, IAM, email, storage, and collaboration platforms.
• Provide day-to-day IT support and helpdesk services.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, SLAs, and performance.
• Develop and manage IT budget and cost-effective tech investments.
• Implement data backup, DR, and business continuity aligned with security policies.
• Support cybersecurity program and IT risk committee with safeguards.
