Job summary

The Goree Companies is seeking an IT Director to lead the organization’s information technology strategy, infrastructure, systems, and cybersecurity. You will partner with executive leadership to align technology with growth, operate a scalable technology stack, and guide the IT team across security, data management, cloud services, and business applications.

Responsibilities include developing IT roadmaps, enforcing governance, managing budgets and vendors, and ensuring reliable, cost-effective

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in information systems, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive IT experience.
• 5+ years leading an IT team or department.
• Experience developing IT strategies and roadmaps.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure, networks, cloud tech, cybersecurity, and business applications.
• Ability to travel to off-site locations in and out of state.
• Experience with IT budgeting, vendor management, procurement, and contracts.
• Experience in professional services/architecture/design/project-based environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Lead and develop the IT team, set priorities, and ensure service delivery.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, cloud environments, and devices for reliability and security.
• Maintain cybersecurity policies, access controls, and incident response plans.
• Manage data security, backups, and data integration across departments.
• Oversee budgets, vendor negotiations, and technology procurement.
• Coordinate IT governance and compliance with regulations and internal policies.
• Support business continuity planning and disaster recovery efforts.
