Job summary

Simmons Bank is seeking an IT Architect to design and continuously improve the bank's technical infrastructure. You will evaluate existing technologies, propose cost- effective improvements, and present opportunities to IT and Executive Leadership.

The Architect serves on the Architecture Review Board and may lead critical infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include vendor engagement, due diligence, contract input, and ensuring compliance with FFIEC, GLBA, and data protection requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Experience in a regulated financial institution environment.
• 8+ years of enterprise/solution architecture or senior technology leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates Bank technology and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Designs, tests, and evaluates technical solutions to support architecture.
• Engages with vendors and leads critical infrastructure-related projects.
• Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
