Job summary

Jobtailor seeks an experienced ISSO to oversee security for assigned information systems in a dynamic IT environment. You will maintain the posture to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability, and produce essential documentation like SSPs, SIAs, and POA&M.

Responsibilities include RMF SAA coordination, risk assessments, and advising system owners on security matters. Strong background in NIST frameworks and cloud security is required, with a Bachelor's degree in an IT field.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of NIST publications and privacy frameworks.
• Cloud service models, hybrid models, financial apps, and mobile security tech.
• Experience supporting an industry risk management tool executing A&A activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field; certifications valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge to manage security of assigned information systems.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems.
• Complete and keep updated security documentation (SIA, SSP, POA&M, CM Plan, Vulnerability Reports).
• Manage RMF SAA planning and authorization processes.
• Advise system owners on security matters for assigned IT systems.
