Job summary

AMD is seeking a high-impact professional to lead third‑party IP licensing and strategic supplier engagements within the AECG - Embedded Team in San Jose. You will drive financial planning, vendor governance, and cross‑functional collaboration to support advanced semiconductor development.

You will partner with Engineering, Finance, Legal, Procurement, and Supply Chain to translate technical and commercial objectives into executable plans and long‑range strategies, ensuring successful delivery

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related).
  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Experience in semiconductor product development, partnerships, and IP licensing.

Responsibilities

  • Lead third‑party IP licensing and strategic supplier engagements.
  • Drive business operations, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning.
  • Develop financial models and business cases for licensing strategies and investments.
  • Manage contract lifecycle: NDAs, licenses, SOWs, amendments, POs, renewals.
  • Lead cross‑functional execution with Engineering, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Ops.
  • Establish program governance, reporting, dashboards, and executive communications.
