Job summary

AEVEX, headquartered in Solana Beach, California, seeks a VP of Investor Relations & Treasury to lead external investor communications and internal capital markets, liquidity, and cash management.

You will partner with the CEO and CFO to prepare earnings materials, manage investor outreach, debt management, and banking relationships, and guide the IR strategy with transparent, compelling financial messaging.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, or corporate finance.
• Experience managing investor events (earnings calls, investor days, roadshows).
• Prior experience in a publicly traded company, aerospace/defense, technology, or complex industries.
• Security clearance – ability to obtain/maintain Secret DoD clearance.
• Proven ability to build relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and execution of the quarterly earnings process, including executive scripts and messaging.
• Draft and coordinate quarterly earnings materials, exec scripts, Q&A prep, and transcript approvals.
• Act as primary contact for investors, analysts, and the financial community.
• Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on investor sentiment and market trends.
• Partner with finance on SEC filings and disclosure compliance.
• Oversee investor-facing materials, including fact sheets, press releases, and shareholder letters.
• Manage relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and rating agencies; coordinate meetings, roadshows, conferences.
• Monitor analyst reports and shareholder ownership to deliver insights to leadership.
• Lead the IR website development and maintenance in alignment with strategy.
• Support M&A, capital markets, and financing initiatives through financial communications.
• Perform other duties as required.
