Job summary

Morgan Stanley’s New York office is seeking an Analyst/Associate for the Strategic Investments team. You will work on sourcing, evaluating and closing investments across market infrastructure, trading, wealth management platforms, and related tech companies.

You’ll build financial models, prepare presentations for the Investment Committee, and monitor portfolio developments while collaborating across functions firmwide.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years in investment banking, venture/growth equity, strategy consulting or strategic corporate finance.
• Building and analyzing financial models and conducting financial due diligence.
• Experience managing transaction/investment processes across cross-functional teams.
• Experience using Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools, and AI/LLM-based tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage full investment lifecycle from sourcing to post-investment monitoring and exit.
• Prepare valuation analyses and presentations to the Investment Committee.
• Research and monitor industry developments relevant to the portfolio and firm.
