Job summary

American Concrete is seeking an Inventory Clerk to manage purchasing of materials and services for precast concrete manufacturing. You will handle pricing, vendor communication, and stock control while ensuring timely deliveries and cost efficiency.

The role requires practical experience with ERP systems and strong analytical and communication skills to support fast-paced operations in a construction setting.

Responsibilities

• Purchase general and specialized materials, equipment, and subcontractor services for manufacturing precast concrete components.
• Create purchase orders and receive materials in Sage ERP for invoicing.
• Forecast material needs to ensure stock for upcoming projects.
• Inspect delivered goods and report issues promptly.
• Track material using Sage ERP system.
• Run reports on purchases and perform cost analyses in Sage software.
• Monitor daily inventory levels.
