Job summary

Central Marketing is seeking a hands-on Procurement, Purchasing & Inventory Analyst to manage day-to-day buying and supply chain operations. You will own the full cycle from vendor sourcing to inventory tracking and order fulfillment.

The role focuses on optimizing stock levels, avoiding shortages or excess inventory, and building strong supplier relationships to keep operations running smoothly. This on-site role is based in Colonial Heights, VA.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in inventory management or procurement.
• Experience coordinating with vendors on POs, pricing, lead times.
• Strong Excel skills and data analysis for inventory.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems; Dynamics GP preferred.
• Ability to forecast inventory and optimize stock levels.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Procurement & Sourcing: evaluate vendors, negotiate pricing and terms.
• Purchasing Administration: process POs and track shipments.
• Inventory Control: monitor stock, cycle counts, reconcile variances.
• Forecast future supply needs based on trends.
• Process Improvement: upgrade inventory software/ERP systems.
