Job summary

Meyer Laboratory, LLC is seeking an Inventory Planner to maintain optimal inventory levels across its sites and 3PL locations. The role collaborates with Plant Managers, Account Managers, Logistics, Scheduling, Procurement, and Finance to drive inventory accuracy and efficiency.

The candidate will analyze inventory data, manage replenishment, and set safe stock thresholds while supporting process improvements and cost control. Experience in manufacturing settings and advanced Excel are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, or a related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or logistics in a manufacturing setting.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to compile and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory control processes to support accurate reporting.
• Support inventory reduction initiatives to minimize excess stock and costs.
• Replenish inventory levels across plant, field warehouse, and 3PL locations by setting optimal safety stock thresholds.
• Maintain data to support physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
• Monitor excess, obsolete, and slow-moving inventory and coordinate corrective actions.
• Use NetSuite ERP to compile and analyze inventory data and report metrics.
