Job summary

Castelion is seeking an Inventory Specialist to maintain inventory integrity across physical and system environments, coordinating with Purchasing, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure materials are received, tracked, stored, and issued to support production.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, hands-on execution, and continuous improvement, with responsibilities including cycle counts, audits, and aligning ERP data with physical stock to enable reliable planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in Material Management or related field.
• Experience with ERP in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced Excel skills with data analysis.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with hazardous materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with hands-on approach and continuous improvement mindset.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Track, receive, identify, and document inbound inventory per procedures.
• Coordinate shipping activities and ensure outbound materials are processed and documented.
• Maintain alignment between physical stock and ERP data.
• Own inventory accuracy via cycle count program.
• Conduct regular physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Production, and other stakeholders to resolve variances.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Support daily production kitting and ensure materials per monthly plan.
• Optimize storage locations for space and material flow.
• Maintain compliance with procedures, standards, and security.
• Lift up to 50 lbs unassisted as required.
• Support continuous improvement in inventory control and data accuracy.
