Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Lead Inventory Specialist (Starship) to support the Fulfillment Center at our Texas site. You will manage daily shift backlogs, reallocate resources, and mentor staff while ensuring material handling and inventory accuracy to meet production targets.

You will collaborate with production, planning, quality, and shipping teams, maintaining strict housekeeping and process discipline to optimize stock flow and readiness for Starship programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6+ months as a SpaceX technician or 1+ year in an outside production/operations environment.
• Experience operating ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
• Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support daily/weekly team meetings and help the team improve.
• Oversee daily shift backlogs and ensure adherence to metric targets.
• Re-assign daily shift resources to meet demands and mentor employees.
• Monitor and replenish consumables and manage material handling per procedures.
• Interface with FCs and related departments to resolve receipt and distribution issues.
