Job summary

Oxco, LLC is seeking an Inventory & General Accountant to deliver accurate cost accounting, GAAP-compliant financials, and timely data for manufacturing operations. The role supports plant controllers, cost accountants, and manufacturing accountants aiming to deepen inventory cost expertise while strengthening overall accounting knowledge.

The successful candidate will collaborate with operations managers, analyze variances, prepare financial reports, and assist with budgets and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 3+ years financial experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior cost/inventory accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize and analyze operational cost data.
• Review and validate cost standards for manufactured and purchased goods.
• Collaborate with Industrial Engineer on standard costing for GAAP inventory valuation.
• Perform monthly and year-end accounting tasks including reconciliations and accruals.
• Prepare internal financial reports and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual results.
• Assist with budgets/forecasts and external reports such as property tax.
