Job summary

Ascensus is seeking an Associate Communications Specialist to help create an exceptional associate experience and strengthen the Ascensus culture. This role will partner with the head of associate communications to inform, engage, and inspire associates as they advance our mission of helping people save for retirement, education, and healthcare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of internal communications experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.
• Experience providing collaborative support for strategic internal communications initiatives.
• Financial services industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver writing and editing support for leader and associate communications.
• Manage editorial process and ensure effective message planning and dissemination.
• Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with internal teams.
• Support production of town hall meetings, including logistics, content generation, and post-meeting cascades.
• Produce written materials with focus on formatting, brand consistency, proofreading, and visual appeal.
• Generate content for the organization’s digital channels and manage editorial schedule for the intranet.
• Protect confidential data and ensure proper handling to prevent unauthorized disclosure.
• Model Ascensus’ Core Values in day-to-day actions and support our culture.
• Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned.
