Job summary

Akerman LLP in Dallas seeks a Senior Competitive Intelligence Specialist to drive growth through insight-led decision-making. You will synthesize market activity, client developments, financial data, and competitive intelligence into clear narratives that inform firm strategy and client development.

You will partner with Marketing & Client Development and CI teams to support go-to-market initiatives, measure impact, and advance data-driven capabilities across the practice groups and industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in competitive intelligence, market research, or business analysis.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Exceptional analytical, writing, and synthesis skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and financial/market data platforms.
