Mars is seeking a Competitive Intelligence Analyst in Franklin, TN, on-site. You will translate data into repeatable insights, maintain core reporting, and contribute to thought leadership across brands. This role requires strong Excel and BI tool experience, plus 2+ years in analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 2+ years of analytics, insights, category management, or related field.
• Strong analytical and data management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with Excel and exposure to BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Ability to structure analysis and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong business acumen.
• Strong attention to detail and process orientation.
• Ability to manage recurring tasks and multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve periodic reporting and dashboards, adding automation and new tools to drive efficiency.
• Produce standardized Flywheel and portfolio performance reports with clear analysis and implications.
• Support key signature processes through data prep, analysis, and reporting.
• Execute ad hoc analyses to identify performance drivers, opportunities, and risks across brands and categories.
• Build and maintain competitive intelligence tracking to inform benchmarking and best practices.
• Contribute to thought leadership materials focusing on future category trends and growth opportunities.
• Support webinar development and content creation for sharing insights.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and documentation of methodologies and assumptions.
• Collaborate with I&GS to refine outputs and identify next steps for deeper analysis.
• Identify process improvements and opportunities to enhance reporting automation and scalability.
