Macon-Bibb County is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to perform collection, collation, analysis, and dissemination of criminal intelligence and data to support the Sheriff’s Office.

The role involves evaluating information from multiple sources, verifying accuracy, and transforming it into actionable intelligence to aid in preventing crimes, supporting arrests, and gathering evidence for prosecution.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Georgia Motor Vehicle Operator's License.
• Must be fingerprinted, pass a polygraph test, and pass a background investigation.
• Skill in using word processing, spreadsheets, and database software programs.
• Ability to organize work and establish tracking procedures.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• The Intelligence Analyst collects, collates, analyzes, and disseminates criminal intelligence and data for use by the Sheriff's Office.
• Involves evaluating information from multiple sources, verifying accuracy, and transforming it into viable intelligence.
• Aids law enforcement in preventing crimes, making arrests, and gathering evidence for prosecution.
