Macon-Bibb County is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to perform collection, collation, analysis, and dissemination of criminal intelligence and data to support the Sheriff’s Office.

The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for performing work related to the collection, collation, analysis, and dissemination of criminal intelligence and criminal data to be utilized by the Sheriff's Office. The essential duties and responsibilities of this position fall within criminal intelligence analysis. Criminal intelligence analysis involves gathering information from multiple sources, evaluating it, verifying its accuracy, and transforming it into viable intelligence to assist law enforcement in preventing crimes, making arrests, and gathering essential evidence for prosecution.
