Job summary

The candidate will manage client billing, stay current on regulatory items, and explore cross-selling opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience, OR in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 6 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
• Strong level of proficiency in use of personal computers and pertinent word processing and spreadsheet software

Responsibilities

• Submit and/or approve activity for processing in a timely and accurate manner and based on client directives.
• Respond to and/or annotate compliance reports for assigned accounts or team; resolve related outstanding matters as directed.
• Submit and/or approve annual account reviews for assigned accounts or in a timely manner as requested.
• Serve as primary/secondary contact for assigned/coverage team accounts as well as retirement plan participants and pensioners. Resolve basic and complex matters and inquiries, adhering to established Division, client and alliance service standards.
• Maintain client communications on regulatory, legal, accounting and trust matters.
• Complete client billing and resolve aged receivables for client accounts.
• Remain current on industry trends and regulatory items.
• Partner with Client Development to look for cross-selling and growth opportunities with assigned clients.
• Provide guidance to less experienced personnel.
• Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
• Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
