Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) is seeking a Strategy and Operations Specialist for a part-time, temporary role in Boston. You will transform complex data into insights to guide planning and decisions, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.

A 20-hour work week is required, with a salary rate of $50–$75 per hour. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering, computer science (MBA preferred) and 1–3 years in strategy consulting, plus strong skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, engineering, computer science, or related field.
• 1–3 years in a strategy consulting environment with strong business and financial acumen.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau; SQL, STATA or R familiarity.
• Ability to work a minimum 20-hour work week.

Responsibilities

• Transform complex data into meaningful insights to support strategic planning and organizational decision-making.
• Evaluate trends, opportunities, risks, and business challenges with data-driven recommendations.
• Utilize financial modeling, forecasting, benchmarking, and performance measurement techniques for long-range planning and executive decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and present findings clearly to drive action.
