Job summary

The Regents of the University of California on behalf of their Los Angeles Campus seeks an Associate Dean for Innovation and Program Development to provide senior leadership across AI/Instructional Media, Instructional Design, and Program Development.

Reporting to the Dean, the role translates priorities into coordinated strategies, plans, and measurable results while guiding resource allocation and governance alignment.

Qualifications

• Significant management experience in higher education or a comparably complex organization.
• Experience with faculty governance and cross-functional decision-making.
• Expertise in developing or implementing large academic or non-degree programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior leadership for AI/Instructional Media, Instructional Design and Program Development.
• Translate priorities into strategies, operating plans and measurable results.
• Oversee budgets, staffing and resource coordination across three functional areas.
• Collaborate with governance bodies and external partners to advance initiatives.
