Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant progressively responsible management experience in higher education.
• Experience in budget and resource management with delegated authority.
• Experience in a major research university or comparable governance environment.
• Expert in developing or implementing new academic or non-degree programs.
• External leadership or influence in graduate management education networks.
• Excellent leadership ability to manage multiple specialized functions and senior professionals.
• Demonstrated management skill in organizational design, staffing, performance management, and stewardship of resources.
• Advanced ability to develop strategy and translate priorities into operating plans and outcomes.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, change‑management, and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex institutional initiatives in a shared‑governance environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee three functional areas: AI/Instructional Media, Instructional Design, and Program Development and Strategic Administration.
• Translate School priorities into coordinated organizational strategies, operating structures, and measurable results.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and resource allocation for the three functions.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives and establish governance structures and performance measures.
• Collaborate with the Dean, Academic Senate, and university authorities on strategic priorities.
