Job summary

WorkGenius Group is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Project Manager in Culver City, CA for a 6-month engagement. You will partner with leadership to define objectives, scope, and execution strategies for strategic initiatives, translating ambiguous needs into actionable plans and milestones.

You will manage cross-functional initiatives from scoping through implementation, developing scalable playbooks and templates while leveraging AI tools to boost research, reporting, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to define objectives, scope, deliverables, ownership, timelines, and execution strategies for strategic initiatives.
• Translate ambiguous business needs into structured project briefs, actionable plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Manage cross-functional initiatives from scoping through implementation, coordinating stakeholders, dependencies, risks, budgets, priorities, and deliverables.
• Develop scalable project playbooks, templates, workflows, vendor databases, and operational best practices.
• Leverage AI tools and automation to improve research, reporting, documentation, project coordination, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience managing complex, cross-functional projects or programs within a large organization, including timelines, budgets, risks, dependencies, and multiple workstreams.
• Ability to translate ambiguous requests into structured plans and outcomes while exercising strong strategic thinking, critical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience coordinating external vendors or consultants, reviewing deliverables, and managing approval processes.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools and automation, developing scalable processes, or establishing project management systems and operational resources.
• Excellent written communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders without direct authority, work independently, prioritize competing initiatives, and handle confidential information discreetly.
