Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Senior Product Manager to build and enhance our core platform and user experience across mobility solutions. You will lead end-to-end billing experiences and partner with engineering to scale our technology platform, while driving improvements in funnel conversion and platform health.

The role requires 5+ years in software product management, strong communication, and a background in billing or financial processes.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of experience in software product management.
• Platform or technical product management background.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field.
• Ability to define platform requirements from data to support business needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leveraging business intelligence for data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with billing processes and accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Build a vision and own mission-critical platform and mobile apps.
• Partner with engineering to define product requirements and operational processes.
• Design end-to-end billing experiences supporting multiple pricing models.

Platform or technical product management background preferredBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field, or a related business fieldAbility to define technical platform requirements that connect to business needs using data to formulate hypothesisPartner with engineering teams to prioritize backlogs, writing clear user stories that articulate desired customer functionalityActs as a consultant for business verticals, being able to quickly grasp key objectives and translate these into billing service requirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience leveraging business intelligence platforms for data-driven decision makingFamiliarity with financial accounting principles, billing services and processes are a plusThe annual starting salary for this position is between $140,000 - $160,000 annually.
