Job summary

CarMax Business Services is seeking a strategic, analytical leader to drive initiatives aligned with our long-range plan. You will identify opportunities, partner with functional experts, and define test plans with clear metrics.

The role focuses on translating business objectives into concrete actions, coordinating multiple projects, and communicating outcomes to executives. Based at the Midtown Office in Richmond, VA, you will work onsite four days per week and contribute to market expansion

Qualifications

• Four or more years of experience in an analytical role.
• Undergraduate degree in business or quantitative discipline; graduate degree a plus.
• Experience with strategy formulation, articulation, and implementation.
• Experience with advanced analytics and modeling preferred.
• Excel, PowerPoint; SQL experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities across the organization and develop a roadmap of new initiatives.
• Support development of solutions with functional experts in each area.
• Define the test plan to understand interdependencies, sequencing, and metrics.
• Conduct test analysis to understand performance and optimization opportunities.
• Determine readiness for market expansion and communicate results to executives.
