Job summary

Oakland University is seeking an Executive Project Manager in Rochester, MI to lead complex, high-priority initiatives across academic, clinical, research, and operations. You will manage project plans, timelines, deliverables, and governance activities with stakeholders including Corewell Health East and the OU Beaumont School of Medicine.

You will translate strategic priorities into actionable plans, coordinate cross-organizational workstreams, and identify risks to keep programs on schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, higher education, business, public health, public administration, or related field.
• Minimum of four years of progressive project management experience, including managing complex, multi-organizational strategic initiatives.
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
• Master’s degree preferred; PMP certification favored.
• Experience with Academic Medical Centers, teaching hospitals, health systems, or research-intensive universities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management for large-scale initiatives involving Oakland University, Corewell Health East, and the OU William Beaumont School of Medicine.
• Coordinate project plans, timelines, deliverables, and governance activities across diverse workstreams.
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and facilitate collaboration across complex organizations.
• Identify and address risks and dependencies to keep projects aligned and on schedule.
