Job summary

Energy By 5 is seeking a Head of Strategic Initiatives to lead and oversee the organization's most important initiatives. This senior, cross‑functional role sits close to leadership—part strategic partner, part operator—turning priorities into plans and plans into measurable results.

You will drive day‑to‑day execution, identify risks, remove roadblocks, and keep initiatives on schedule and budget while reporting progress to executives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project management, program management, chief of staff, strategy and operations, or similar leading cross-functional initiatives.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management, with ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience in deregulated energy (procurement, supply, retail energy, commodity markets, sustainability) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee major cross-functional initiatives across the organization, ensuring execution and measurable results from kickoff to delivery.
• Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, translating priorities into plans, owners, milestones and metrics.
• Drive day-to-day execution, identify risks and dependencies, remove roadblocks, and keep initiatives on schedule and budget.
