Heartland Food Products Group seeks an Associate Strategic Sourcing Manager, Ingredients, to drive sourcing strategies for sweeteners, coffee extracts, dairy, flavors, and additives in Indianapolis. The role partners with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations and Finance to ensure supply resilience and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 2–3 years in strategic sourcing or procurement in a CPG environment preferred.
• Experience with competitive bidding, contract administration, and spend analytics.

Responsibilities

• Execute defined sourcing strategies across ingredient categories.
• Conduct negotiations on price, terms, MOQs, and lead times.
• Maintain supplier pricing and contracts in ERP to prevent variances.
• Serve as main commercial contact for supplier communications and PO escalations.
• Track cost drivers and generate monthly cost-savings and inflation metrics.
