Job summary

California Baptist University seeks an Industry Liaison – Temporary to build strategic partnerships with industry leaders and educational institutions. You will expand internship opportunities, coordinate guest speakers, and develop practicum experiences to enhance student preparedness and employer engagement.

Travel to partner sites and events will be required, and you will manage school communications while supporting sponsorships and community initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 1–2 years of professional experience in business development, community engagement, higher education, sales, marketing, or partnerships.
• Proven ability to build relationships with external partners and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and networking capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate partners, industry leaders, and community stakeholders.
• Identify, secure, and expand internship and experiential learning opportunities for students.
• Recruit industry professionals to serve as guest speakers, panelists, and classroom presenters.
• Collaborate with faculty to design practicum, consulting, and project-based learning experiences.
• Research, develop, and support business service and internal service projects benefiting students.
• Secure sponsorships and external support for student projects and initiatives.
• Manage the School of Business website and social media to promote programs and opportunities.
• Represent the School of Business at corporate offices, events, and conferences.
