Job summary

Placements24 seeks a seasoned Industrial Engineering Consultant to optimize operational processes for facilities in the Eastern Cape. This contract role requires analyzing complex systems, identifying strategic improvements and delivering actionable plans that drive efficiency and cost savings.

You will collaborate with client teams, applying Lean Six Sigma and other excellence frameworks to design improvements and mentor staff to sustain changes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years experience in industrial engineering with consulting/advisory work.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma expertise.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Outstanding client-facing communication and negotiation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assess client industrial and operational processes across facilities.
• Identify key efficiency, productivity, quality and cost improvements.
• Develop strategic recommendations and roadmaps for implementation.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to design solutions.
• Collaborate with client teams to implement agreed changes.
• Provide training to ensure sustainability of improvements.
