Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Field Training Exercise Planner at Camp Smith, Honolulu, Hawaii to support USINDOPACOM J73 by orchestrating the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) planning and executing designated exercises such as KEEN SWORD, TALISMAN SABER, and NORTHERN EDGE.

The role requires leading exercise work groups, coordinating with OCE and senior leaders, and ensuring proper personnel, equipment, and timelines for successful training events. Travel up to 25% and on-site duties expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant military/exercise planning experience.
• Knowledge of the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC) and FTX planning.
• Experience with joint and allied force coordination.
• Active security clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Support USINDOPACOM to plan, direct, monitor and assess high-end exercises such as KEEN SWORD, TALISMAN SABER, NORTHERN EDGE.
• Maintain deliberate action plans with milestones and produce orders, briefings, and planning deliverables.
• Coordinate with staff and organizations to assign personnel, equipment, and forces for exercises.
