Job summary

Vizient, Inc. in Irving, TX seeks a senior leader to drive complex indirect spend advisory engagements across healthcare organizations, supplier relationships, contracts, and spend categories.

You will provide strategic consulting, advanced analytics, project management and sourcing expertise to identify opportunities, optimize contract performance and deliver measurable client value. You will collaborate with clients, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to drive initiatives from analysis

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Experience in consulting, healthcare, indirect spend management, strategic sourcing, supplier management, or purchased services preferred.
• Ability to travel regularly to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent client engagements with project plans, timelines and measurable value.
• Analyze spend, contracts, supplier data to identify opportunities and communicate insights.
• Manage supplier contracts, monitor pricing, renewals, performance, and adoption.
• Coordinate renewals, amendments, negotiations and cost-mitigation with clients and suppliers.
• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives including RFPs and market assessments.
• Facilitate client leadership meetings and governance discussions with documented actions.
• Oversee onboarding, activation, and implementation activities to improve utilization and compliance.
• Build strong client relationships and identify additional advisory opportunities.
• Collaborate with Indirect Spend Advisory team to develop tools and standards.
• Leverage analytics and AI tools to improve workflow while protecting data confidentiality.
