The role requires coordinating with cross-functional teams, leading supplier qualification, and driving value through negotiations and strategic sourcing. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement, strong negotiation skills, and experience with RFx processes.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in strategic sourcing, supplier management, or procurement.
• Comfort in fast-paced environments with autonomy.
• Strong problem-solving and project management skills.
• Experience negotiating and redlining contracts with legal teams.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supplier relationship management for assigned indirect categories, including performance and issue resolution.
• Partner with cross-functional teams as regional category lead to align demand, priorities, and sourcing strategies.
• Lead supplier qualification for selection, onboarding, and development of strategic suppliers.
• Drive supplier compliance with Micron’s Supplier Code of Conduct and CSR expectations.
• Translate market intelligence and pricing trends into actionable insights for decisions.
• Build and maintain regional cost models and benchmarks for should-cost analyses.
• Lead negotiations and commercial actions (renewals, extensions, repricing, transitions) to deliver value and continuity of supply.
• Lead RFx/sourcing events through award and transition; align regional and global strategies.
• Incorporate savings targets and total cost considerations into sourcing strategies and negotiations.
• Define and implement contract strategies for assigned categories; ensure alignment with requirements.
