Job summary

Gogo is seeking a Buyer, Indirect Purchasing to manage procurement of non-inventory materials and services, supporting business operations enterprise-wide. You will partner with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely purchasing, strong supplier performance, and process excellence.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, problem solving, and managing multiple priorities with attention to detail. Prior aviation/tech procurement experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of indirect purchasing or related procurement experience.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and procurement transactions.
• Experience using ERP systems and purchasing tools to manage procurement activities.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Own the indirect purchasing process and serve as the primary contact for non-inventory procurement activities.
• Manage supplier relationships and contracts to ensure service, quality, cost, and performance objectives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Coordinate vendor onboarding activities for suppliers not currently on approved vendor lists.
• Manage RFQ processes, evaluate supplier proposals, and support sourcing decisions.
• Process purchase requests, issue purchase orders through ERP systems, and maintain procurement records.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance, track open purchase orders, and resolve issues impacting timelines.
• Resolve supplier concerns related to pricing, delivery, invoicing, and quality.
• Validate completed services and coordinate invoice reconciliation for accurate payment processing.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
