Job summary

Utz Quality Foods seeks a Procurement Manager – Indirect to join our team in Pennsylvania or Dallas, Texas. The role leads indirect category strategies across IT, Marketing, HR and Corporate Services with an annual spend in the multi-million range.

You will drive year-over-year cost improvements, negotiate long-term contracts, and collaborate with Finance, IT, Marketing and Supply Chain to deliver value and support Utz’s growth strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Marketing or Finance.
• 3+ years of experience in CPG, Food or Beverage Industry.
• Knowledge of and experience in proactive Supplier Development activities (root cause problem solving, lean manufacturing, kaizen).

Responsibilities

• Design and execute category strategies that align to Utz business strategies (e.g. conduct spend analysis, align business objectives, conduct supply market analysis).
• Provide fact-based recommendations to executive level management for best overall strategic buy decisions.
• Negotiate long-term purchasing contracts with favorable terms and supply chain optimization programs.
• Collaborate with IT, Marketing, HR and Supply Chain to lead strategic sourcing projects and supplier development.
