Utz Quality Foods, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Manager [Direct] to lead direct materials sourcing and supplier management for manufacturing operations in Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• 3-5+ years of experience in Supply Chain (e.g. Procurement, Planning, Transportation etc)
• 3+ years of experience in CPG, Food or Beverage Industry.
• Knowledge of proactive Supplier Development activities (root cause problem solving, lean manufacturing, kaizen).
• Experience working with Contract Manufacturer is preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and execute category strategies that align to Utz business strategies.
• Provide fact-based recommendations to executive level management for best strategic buy decisions.
• Proactively work with key suppliers on capacity planning and forward-looking inventory management programs.
• Proactively work with contract manufacturers on raw material inventory and pricing.
• Develop and negotiate long term purchasing contracts with supplier optimization programs.
• Maintain understanding of market dynamics for assigned categories.
• Coordinate and monitor raw material inventories with Utz manufacturing, co-packers, and suppliers.
