Job summary

Web Industries in Marlborough, MA seeks a Corporate Counsel to provide broad legal support across IP, governance, employment, and contracts.

You will draft and negotiate agreements, oversee compliance, manage real estate and software licensing matters, and advise leadership on risk and growth.

This in-house role requires JD and 5+ years of corporate law, with experience in IP and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in at least one U.S. state.
• 5+ years of corporate law experience focused on IP, governance, and contract law.
• Experience advising on employment law and regulatory compliance.
• Strong knowledge of patent law and software licensing.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on IP matters including patents and trademarks to protect innovations.
• Advise on corporate governance to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including employment agreements, software licensing, and real estate transactions.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations across all business units, including employment law and corporate compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counsel to manage litigation, dispute resolution, and risk mitigation strategies.
