Job summary

Jobtailor in Illinois is seeking a senior strategy and operations professional to lead strategic plans, drive large-scale projects, and partner with the Americas Leadership Team to align goals and deadlines.

You will develop business cases, manage budgeting and events, and produce executive-ready presentations for senior stakeholders, leveraging your analytic skills and knowledge of AI tools to improve efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in professional services, ideally internal or management consulting.
• Strong written and verbal storytelling and communication skills.
• Excellent PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to craft compelling business presentations for executive audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of generative AI and work-optimization tools.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to influence and interact with colleagues at all levels, including executive audiences.
• Ability to identify business opportunities and issues from varying perspectives.
• Prioritization and multi-project management under tight deadlines.
• Experience dealing with confidential and business-critical issues.
• Willingness to respond to ad-hoc requests and projects.
• Comfort dealing with ambiguity or acting with limited direction or oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of strategic plans and operational enhancements.
• Execute special projects aligned to the Practice’s priorities.
• Coordinate with geographies on global projects and priorities.
• Develop business cases for investments.
• Lead budgeting and execution of large-scale events.
• Manage client-facing teams seeking project investments, including developing investment theses.
• Oversee integration for new joiners, particularly Partners and Principals.
• Produce analyses and insights related to employee retention and attrition.
• Coordinate annual performance reviews and objective-setting for Partners.
• Support marketing efforts, including editorial calendar and event logistics.
