Job summary

Gates Foundation in Seattle is seeking an Associate Strategy Officer to join the Foundation Strategy Office. You will craft qualitative and quantitative analyses, synthesize insights, and manage client relationships to advance strategic initiatives.

You will support the development and launch of strategies across Global Education, Gender Equality, Malaria, and more, collaborating with senior leadership and internal clients to accelerate impact and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in strategic planning and consulting
• Experience at a top-tier management consulting firm
• Deep knowledge of strategy development and end-to-end project management
• Ability to work across language, culture, and distance
• Proficiency in Excel, Stata, and data visualization in reports
• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally; based in Seattle, WA with relocation

Responsibilities

• Develop and test strategy concepts and facilitate organizational change with internal clients
• Support the development, prioritization, and launch of new foundation strategies and initiatives
• Employ strategic resources to develop options and challenge assumptions
• Contribute to research and analytical methodologies to support decision-making
• Support the day-to-day ownership of the strategic process and discreet work
• Contribute to team development and foundation-wide activities
